Joe TimminsList Item 1
As one of the UKs most experianced and successful personal trainers Joe has over 20 years working in the industry. He co-founded aspire fitness in 2007, following several years working as a freelance trainer with a wide range of client abilities and goals.
Joe's current training interests are based around endurance training for ultra-distance events. He has competed in Tough Guy, the Great London Swim, Hellrunner, 70 Wild Miles, numerous sprint triathlons, the Big Woody ultra-distance Triathlon. His main passion is ultra distance running and he has completed some of the UKs toughest races including: the Montane 50 mile Ultra-marathon, the 100 mile Ultra Tour of the Lake District, the 100 mile Arc of Attrition and the Dragon's Back twice! In 2014 he co-founded 'run walk crawl' race series of 7 trail and ultra running events in South Wales.
Further interestes include optimal and appropriate nutrion for health and performance, exercise prescription for individuals with medical conditions and improving function across the lifespan.

Ben MorrisList Item 2
Ben is co-founder of Aspire Fitness, Aspire Adventure and Run walk crawl and has been a highly sought after personal trainer and strength coach based in Cardiff for over 20 years. In 2007 he opened aspire fitness. He has an undergraduate degree in Sport and Physical Education and a MSc in Sport, Health and Exercise Science (distinction). He is a former division 1 Rugby Union player, played competitive Rugby League and has a comprehensive back ground in strength and conditioning for health and performance. Since retiring from Rugby and in a bid to test his physiologcal limits he has completed many of the worlds toughest ultra endurance mountain running events, including 5 completions of the iconic Dragons Back Race ('The Worlds Toughest Mountain Race'), 3 Lakeland 100milers, 2 Spine Challengers ('Britain’s most Brutal' 100miler), the TDS by UTMB, and numerous 40 and 50mile mountain ultras. In 2014 he co-founded the 'run walk crawl' ultra and trail race series of 7 events with distances ranging from 10k to 100miles. His masters thesis investigated the effect of strength training on physiological variables of long distance running and combined with over 20 years of working in the field has developed extensive knowlegde in this area. More recently Ben has taught on the undergraduate and postgraduate Sport and Exercise Science degrees at the University of South Wales and specialises in evidence based exercise prescription for individuals with common medical conditions. He is a qualified mountain leader and rock climbing instructor and has lead and trained groups on numerous challenge events since 2004.

Pete SmithList Item 3
Pete’s is a highly qualifeid physiotherapist and personal trainer with a masters degree in sports medicine. His interest in fitness started when he was in the Army during which time he took part in the Cyprus Mountain Marathon, cross country and downhill mountain biking. On leaving the Army he helped set up the Brecon Multisport Club before founding aspire fitness. Pete has been training clients since 2003, and specialises in exercise as medicine, injury rehabilitation, and improving function in the general population. He completed his Physiotherapy degree in 2011 and since then combines a substantial knowledge of injury assessment with his unique experiance in strength training making him one of the UKs top experts in the treatment and rehabilitation of injury. He also works part time as a first contact physiotherapist in a local GP surgery. Pete’s personal fitness interests include weight training and specifically Olympic weightlifting and road cycling.

Mark DrewList Item 4
Mark’s interest in fitness also started in the Army. After his army career he re-trained as a personal trainer and started working as a manager for Total Fitness in Lincoln, he joined aspire fitness in 2007.. Mark's own interest lie in long course triathlon. He has competed in 70 Wild Miles, Hellrunner, the Snowdon marathon, numerous sprint triathlons, many middle distance triathlons, Welsh Etape in North Wales and the Tenby Ironman 4 times.

James Andreassan
James is the newest member of the aspire team, having worked for us for 2 years. James personal interests are in weight training but loves training people of all ages and abilities.
